Fortex Learning ("we", "us", "our") operates the website fortexlearning.com. We offer online cybersecurity education including video lessons, live sessions, assignments, and certificates. Our contact email is hello@fortexlearning.com.
We collect:
• Account data: first name, last name, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
• Payment data: your transaction reference number and a receipt image you upload. We do not store card numbers or bank credentials.
• Usage data: which lessons you complete, assignment submissions, and session attendance.
• Technical data: IP address (used only for security rate-limiting), and browser session data.
Your data is used to:
• Provide access to courses and track your progress.
• Issue certificates upon course completion.
• Send OTP verification codes and important account emails.
• Notify you when your payment is approved.
• Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
We send transactional emails only — account verification, login codes, payment status, and certificate notices. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Data may be shared only:\n• With our hosting provider (Hostinger) as part of platform operations.\n• If required by law or a valid legal order.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@fortexlearning.com. Certificates may be retained for verification purposes.
We use a single session cookie (fx_sess) to keep you logged in. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Uploaded files are stored outside the web root execution context. We apply rate limiting on authentication endpoints.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
